Being the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Passchendaele, this seems a most appropriate time to remember a work from the past.
In 2009, the NFB commissioned a short film to celebrate the occasion of the Governor General's Performing Arts Award being awarded to Paul Gross for his 2008 WWI Film, Passchendaele a film which he wrote, co-produced, directed, and starred in.
The short film, written and directed by Randy Bradshaw, was shown at the event ceremony in Ottawa, and remains posted on the NFB's website which is viewable here: Remembrance
